Custom GroupsConsulting

The process to arrange a group trip is not a simple one. Someone must coordinate with a bus company, talk to hotels (you want to be sure you get a good rate), plan activities, secure tickets for the activities that are chosen and, in many cases coordinate with several restaurants. When we decided to offer custom group tours here in the Villages we were VERY glad to find a partner who was skilled at all of these various tasks.

US Tours - our partner in the motor-coach tour business in the Villages, is a life saver when it comes to arranging a custom group - they have done it so often that it becomes a relatively simple process to plan and price a new tour.

Advantages of group travel - are well known - shared experiences, having a guide dedicated to your group, group pricing for attractions and transportation, and freedom from worry about finding your way or where to park. All of these benefits are multiplied if the group you are traveling with is made up of friends and neighbors. For a group to have a resource that is available to plan, arrange, and price a trip specifically for the group is both rare and valuable.

Examples to consider - the following are trips that have been created and priced to include transportation from the Villages. Some are trips planned for a specific date and others are examples with no dates. If your group were to choose any particular trip, the cost would have to be updated for the actual dates of the trip. Just click on the links to see a flyer with a complete description of each trip.

Key West Sunsets - note that this trip includes a full day trip to the Dry Tortugas - if you are going to appreciate the Keys, you need to get out in the water.

Savannah Experience - no trip to Savannah would really be complete without a meal at Paula Deen's Lady and Sons restaurant.

Miami Gardens Tour - a trip for all but special for garden enthusiasts - visit the Morakami, Fairchild Tropical Gardens (home to almost every species of palm tree in the world, and the beautiful gardens surrounding Vizcaya on Biscayne Bay.

Balloon Festival at Callaway Gardens - combine the beauty of the gardens in the mountains with a special event.

Cubs Baseball Trip - since we are arranging custom trips, you can pick any activity to build a trip around.

Doral PGA Championship - this was a first class trip (note the reserved bleacher seats) to a golf tournament.

Georgia Fall Foliage - this trip was designed to let Villagers experience fall colors. We stayed at a beautiful resort deep in the woods of north Georgia.

Golden Isles of Georgia - the barrier islands of Georgia make a great short getaway destination.

Jekyll Island Eco Tour - this trip emphasizes the ecology of the seashore.

Miami and South Beach - here's a chance to see why all the famous people flock to South Beach.

Mobile Mardi Gras - the kinder gentler way to experience Mardi Gras.

New Years in Myrtle Beach - what a great way to get away with a group of friends.

Naples Eco Trip - Naples is a great place to experience the beauty and ecology of the Everglades.

Nashville Music and Motor Sports - what a great way to combine music with an interest in motorsports.

Sarasota Jazz Festival - this is another example of building a trip around a specific event.

Savannah Holidays - how about a Christmas getaway to the beautiful city of Savannah.

Smoky Mountain Christmas - another Christmas option.

Smoky Mountain Escape - this is longer summertime trip that includes a visit to the Biltmore Estate.

Smoky Mountain Quilting Festival - is another example of building a trip around an event - in this case for our quilting clubs here in the Villages.

If you belong to a group that might like to travel together, just give us a call. We will meet with you to agree on a trip itinerary. You can use your own ideas or review some of the things we have already arranged.

We will listen to where you would like to go, how long you want to stay, what you want to do, what type of hotel you prefer, and what kind of meals you would like to include.

Once we have the details and price, we will produce marketing flyers that you can use to distribute to your group. If you would like, we can also advertise your group on our website and in the paper to attract others to help fill the bus.
